With Valentine’s Day on everyone’s radar, be sure to plan your date wisely, but expect it not to go exactly as you would like.
According to the Instagram poll, “Valentine’s Day failed dates?” some people have spent Valentine’s Day in ways they wish would have never happened.
Peyton Beck said that a girlfriend broke up with him in a Valentine’s Day card and cut the heart with scissors and said that he is “still not over it.”
Anna Lococo said she broke up with her boyfriend the day before Valentine’s Day - on his birthday - and then wore the shoes he had given her as a gift.
Ashley Price responded and said her ex-boyfriend was so mean that he made her cry on the way to dinner that night.”
Hannah Brown said she waited so long for the guy she had a crush on to ask her out to dinner and all they had time for was ice cream.
Hannah Flannery said the guy she was talking to took her to Hooters. He was only a friend but ended up asking her out on a date, which she said made her feel awkward. He drove them to the restaurant then drank six beers. After they ate, he asked if the bill could be split in half, so she ended up paying about $25 because of his beer consumption. He also kept talking about his ex-girlfriend and kept telling Hannah how “hot their waitress was.” The two never went out again, but they remained friends.
On a happier note, Paige Welsh tried to surprise each other with a heart-shaped pizza, and they ended up with two.
