Entering the 2022 school year, Knights have many free campus-wide back-to-school events to get their minds off the busy weeks. Late Night Bingo is a social event held on campus that includes a full night of fast-paced bingo, free food and cool prizes.
“Student Activities is awesome because it is about getting students connected to the campus. When students feel connected to the campus, they have this sense of belonging and a sense of ownership to Bellarmine,” Student Activities Coordinator Chris Smith said.
Junior Caitlyn Watson said, “One of my favorite parts [of Late Night Bingo] is how fast-paced it is, and it is kind of nerve-racking because you have to keep up and listen.”
Late Night Bingo is held every Tuesday through Nov.15 in Frazier Hall from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. It is led by Bellarmine Activities Council, an organization that holds events appealing to the general student population. The events allow students to be involved on and off campus outside of their academic careers and to connect and enjoy their time in college.
“As a freshman, having opportunities to go to events like Late Night Bingo has made me feel really welcome here at Bellarmine,” first-year student Morgan Caba said.
